iAM-Ready Pre-K Assess and Learn Pro
*Now enables teachers to store 20 student assessment profiles.
This means that the early childhood teacher can now assess all of the children in the classroom and keep the results in secure profiles. The results can also be printed to share with parents, or shared by email.
The app assesses all of the developmental areas using interactive activities on the iPad that any child 3 to 5 will enjoy. Adult supervision is necessary, and some adult observations are required to complete the assessment.
COMPONENTS
Practice. On the home page there are several practice activities where each child can learn to interact with the screen and the app before they begin the assessment.
Profiles. The teacher can create a profile for each child in the classroom with detailed information, notes, and a date (20 profiles). Each profile can be locked so that access to the information is secure.
Assessment. The teacher can choose to assess each child with a profile in up to 9 developmental areas. In most cases, the child completes interactive activities on the iPad, and the iPad records their responses. On some items, adult observation is required.
Report. The app compiles the results of all of the assessments for each child and produces a detailed report of the skills that the child exhibits: all the time, sometimes, or not yet. This report can be printed or emailed to share with parents.
